About the Restaurant
We are a Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of St James's, Piccadilly. We are passionate about delivering exceptional food, outstanding wines, and warm, genuine hospitality. We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, and service-driven individuals to join our front-of-house team.
The Role
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will provide attentive and knowledgeable service while working alongside a dedicated team in a fast-paced, premium restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive service to every guest.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently.
- Serve food and drinks to the highest standard.
- Build strong knowledge of the menu, daily specials, wines, and cocktails to confidently guide guests.
- Ensure tables are set and maintained to restaurant standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest requests and resolve any issues with professionalism.
- Process bills and payments accurately.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Support colleagues to create a positive and collaborative working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a quality restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic.
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
- Good attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Good spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
