Job Overview
As a key team member of Stores department team, the role holder’s key duties will be but not limited to:
- Deliver stock directly to kitting area, maintaining Kanbans stocks or through kitting operations as needed.
- Carry out regular and accurate stock checks and cycle counts in line with company policy and best practice.
- Maintain quality standards, batch control, and full traceability of all parts in line with the company’s quality procedures.
- Pick and issue stock to kitting as required, and make sure all system records are updated correctly.
- Keep all Goods Received Notes and delivery records organised and filed properly.
- Pack all outgoing orders securely to make sure they arrive safely with the customer.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the company.
- Follow all safety, health, and environmental rules at all times.
- Unpack and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders or invoices via scanning.
- Take part in 5S activities to keep the workplace clean, organised, and efficient.
- Assist with chutes ensuring materials are correctly directed to the right area.
- Put stock away accurately into designated storage locations.
- Move and handle stock using trollies, pallet trucks, or other handling equipment as required.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily and weekly operational targets.

Qualifications & Skills - Required:
- Good level of physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Understanding of basic health and safety requirements.
- Knowledge of stock control or stores processes
Qualifications & Skills - preferred:
- Forklift or pallet truck licence
- Previous experience in stores environment
- Experience in furniture or manufacturing industries.
