Kingston School of Art is recruiting a part-time Technical Fellow on a fixed-term, 10 month contract.
You will be a recent graduate of Kingston School of Art, having completed a first degree in an art and design subject at 2:1 or higher within the last three years.
You will join a dynamic academic community, working closely with students and staff in a supportive, student-centred environment. You will provide technical support across our BA and MFA Fine Art programmes.
Your support will be informed by your own specialist artistic practice. You will draw on your sector experience and use a range of approaches and digital tools to help academic staff deliver a Fine Art education that is critically engaged and responsive to contemporary artistic, cultural and professional contexts.
We are looking for a creative individual with an interest in supporting teaching and in developing innovative approaches to technical support. You will have experience of working in an art and design workshop, a sound understanding of Health and Safety in a workshop setting and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will communicate well with a wide range of people, work flexibly across our sites and bring energy and enthusiasm to a team.

This is a part-time (18.5 hours per week, 0.5 FTE), fixed term role available for 10 months with a starting salary of £14,739 per annum (50% pro rata to £29,478 per annum).
