Ramside Hall Hotel are recruiting for a Fitness and Wellness Coach to come and join our team.
Just a 5-minute drive from the historic city of Durham, Ramside Hall Hotel offers 127 luxurious bedrooms and suites, as well as our Luxury Treehouses, each offering its own unique charm with stunning views across 350 acres of beautiful private grounds.
Our luxury spa provides the ideal opportunity to unwind, boasting a sophisticated thermal suite, five pools, including one of the UK’s largest hydrotherapy pools, an outdoor infinity pool, a state-of-the art gym and a huge range of specialist treatments on offer.
As part of the Spa team, our Fitness and Wellness Team play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive the highest level of customer service, so they come back time and time again. Provide expert knowledge in fitness and deliver the highest level of professionalism.
As the successful Fitness and Wellness Coach you will be responsible for delivering fitness classes, motivating clients on the gym floor, driving personal training targets and ensuring the smooth operation of the fitness suite.
Our state of the art gym is fully equipped with life fitness cardio vascular and strength machines as well as our spacious studio where we teach over 50 classes per week.
Key Requirements for the role will include;
- Level 2 Gym Instructor (required)
- Level 3 Personal trainer (desired)
- Level 2 in Hitt/Metifit (required)
- Experience/ Qualifications in Spin/ Boxing (required)
- Other group exercise qualifications will be advantageous
We are looking for someone who is happy to work in a fast-paced environment, with at least 1 year’s previous experience of working as a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer. You will need excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to create relationships with members and to create your own personal training clients.
But most importantly, you will have a passion for fitness, and the ability to drive personal training and standards.
Applicants must be available to work on Fridays between the hours of 6:00am and 10:00pm Monday to Sunday and be willing to join the team on a zero hours contract.
Due to the location of the hotel, applicants must have a valid driving licence.
