The Marketing & Performances Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering Rambert School's marketing, communications and audience engagement objectives. Working closely with, and reporting to, the Marketing Manager, the postholder will help raise the profile of the School, strengthen its reputation as a world-leading conservatoire for dance training and support the successful promotion and delivery of both in-house and external performances.
With a particular focus on digital marketing, social media, content creation and performance promotion, the postholder will create engaging communications that showcase the School's exceptional students, training and artistic activity. They will contribute to the development of compelling campaigns, build meaningful connections with a range of audiences and ensure a consistent and distinctive brand presence across all channels.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
- Provide marketing support across all departments to amplify key initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage digital and social media calendars using scheduling tools, aligned with the School’s Marketing Strategy.
- Assist with curation of social media posts with a particular focus on Instagram and LinkedIn
- Assist with website content planning and updates to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Deliver strategic email campaigns and newsletters tailored to stakeholder groups.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and audience analytics to inform leadership and Board decisions.
- Collaborate on CRM management, ensuring clean, segmented data for targeted communications.
Performances & Events
- Provide logistical support for events, including guest lists, invitations, programmes, catering, and box office setup.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials across print and digital platforms.
- Manage the front-of-house process and provide on-site support at performances and events, including evenings and weekends.
- Evaluate events using analytics, surveys, and feedback to improve audience experience.
- Maintain the online Events Calendar and accurate records of ticketing and attendance.
- Support audience development and outreach to schools to promote inclusive engagement.
- Compile reports and statistics to inform future planning and marketing efforts.
- Support the Head of Development & Communications in donor correspondence including invitations and stewardship for performances.
Brand & Visual Assets
- Support the Marketing Manager in maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
- Manage and distribute brand guidelines, ensuring correct use of the School logo and visual identity.
- Coordinate production of print and digital materials (e.g., newsletters, invitations, stationery), ensuring alignment with brand standards.
Advertising
- Support the strategic placement of advertisements in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
- Oversee booking and design processes, working closely with freelance designers and external partners.
Design & Imagery
- Maintain and organise the School’s digital image archive, recommending visuals for marketing use.
- Assist in planning and executing photo and video shoots, including independent management when required.
- Liaise with external creatives and vendors for design, printing, and distribution of materials.
- Proof all outgoing content to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.
Web Administration
- Maintain and manage the School’s website, ensuring functionality, security, and user-friendliness.
- Update content regularly, troubleshoot issues, and monitor analytics.
- Provide day-to-day website support to departments across the School.
General Responsibilities
- Proactively support all departments with marketing and communications needs.
- Represent the School professionally in all internal and external interactions.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and the School’s privacy policies.
- Conduct market research, including competitor analysis, demographic reviews, and educational trend monitoring.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Support internal communications as required.
- Be prepared to provide admin support across the School (answering the phone and the door) during busy periods and periods of low staffing (e.g., the School holidays).
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by your Line Manager.
- Display an active and committed engagement with the School’s Mission and all School policies and procedures, such as those on EDI, GDPR, Safeguarding and Health & Safety.
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
