Beecholme Adult Care is looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner to join our Mental Health Rehabilitation Home in Mitcham.
Our service supports 13 male residents within a rehabilitation setting, helping them progress towards independent living. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic healthcare environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Main Duties
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
- Follow Infection Prevention and Control procedures at all times
- Safely use and store cleaning products in line with COSHH regulations
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Carry out routine cleaning checks and report any maintenance concerns
- Ensure cleaning equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly
- Support a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience within a healthcare, care home, supported living, or similar environment is essential
- Good understanding of:
- COSHH
- Infection Prevention and Control
- Health and Safety procedures
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Enhanced DBS required (or willingness to obtain one)
- Mandatory training in relevant areas is desirable
