We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at Snappy Snaps Barnet.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with retail or customer service experience and a passion for photography to gain experience across all aspects of our business. Full training will be provided.
Hours & Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Rota-based shifts, Monday to Sunday
- Weekend and public holiday working will be required
About the Role
Our store is a busy photographic and personalised gift retailer, serving customers who value excellent service and high-quality products.
Working in a fast-paced retail environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking passport and ID photographs
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Promoting and selling photo products, wall art, gifts, and related merchandise
- Processing customer orders accurately
- Operating tills and handling cash and card payments
- Assisting with photo printing and production services
- Maintaining high standards of store presentation and organisation
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous retail and/or customer service experience
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy (PC and Mac)
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop or willingness to learn
- An interest in photography and photo products
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends
Contract
- Full-time
- Fixed-term contract: 12 months
Pay & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate starting from the applicable National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage rate, depending on age and eligibility
