Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in joinery, carpentry, kitchen fitting, with a strong focus on precision and quality. This role involves working on diverse projects, must have a good experience back ground on the residential side and able to talk to clients. Kitchen fitting is a must and have an eye to detail along with having the ability to reading drawings. Must have 5years plus experience within the trade.
Duties
- Fabricate customised timber components according to detailed specifications
- Assemble structures using hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
- Install joinery elements in various construction projects such as roofing and masonry works and high end finishings
- Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct site measurements and ensure precise fitting of components
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople including masons, electricians, and plumbers to complete projects on time
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance before handover to clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience in , carpentry, joinery or related trades
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and specialised joinery equipment
- Knowledge of roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction industry
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are advantageous
