We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Assembly Operative to join our dynamic, friendly team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to confidently work towards delivering on customer deadlines.
- Maintaining and delivering on excellent standards of quality.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
- As part of product build you will ensure that these are air and water tested where required.
- Attention to detail is a must as you will be working to instructions and quality management processes as required.
- Correctly picking products to specification.
- You will be cross trained in other areas of the business to maintain continuity and meet customer demand.
- Due diligence is a must to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Must be able to multitask in a busy and varied environment as no two days will be the same.
- Recorded product and packing information on specified documents.
- Examine, clean and pack finished products taking the upmost care to preserve the finish, quality and brand.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of the bathroom industry in a similar role or in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of assembly and production processes are desirable.
- Previous experience of working with hand tools.
- Resourceful and results driven.
- Excellent customer focus with a 'can do attitude'.
- A good team player who is able to perform well as part of a team and work independently when necessary.
- Ability to work well when presented with conflicting tasks and able to prioritise deadlines.
- Dedicated to the brand and in providing the highest quality products and services.
In addition to the above, the candidate may be required to undertake any other duties in line with the basic objectives of the post.
