Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dependable temporary Van Drivers and Drivers Mates to join our dynamic delivery team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while providing exceptional customer service. Whether driving the van or assisting with loading and unloading, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure timely deliveries and satisfied customers. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Delivering promptly to commercial locations with professionalism
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members to coordinate deliveries
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
- Support warehouse operations by helping with inventory management and stock movement when required
Qualifications
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record AND valid driving licence (we can accept 3 points)
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading tasks
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork
