We are a growing business with over 140 employees, and we are passionate about delivering great service and a can-do attitude for our large customer portfolio across the UK and Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join the company as a Driver within a Crane and niche plant hire firm.
Reporting to our Glasgow depot, you will need to be a reliable, committed driver. Previous experience delivering plant and a good knowledge of Central Belt driving routes are beneficial.
Your duties will include:
· Delivery and collection of goods to and from customers
· Liaising with customers and provide communication links between customers and staff
· Loading and unloading goods onto vehicles safely and accurately, ensuring that goods are secured and transited in a safe manner to/from the customer
· Maintaining all aspects of vehicles care including fuelling and cleaning
· Adhering to company policy and procedures relating to Health and Safety and security
· You will be responsible for general duties within the Workshop
· Working with colleagues to ensure the workshop runs efficiently
· To always keep workshop and work areas clean and tidy
· To assist in other tasks that may be required by supervisory staff to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop
The successful candidate will:
· Need to hold a clean, current driving license (Cat B)
· Forklift & B+E license would be desirable
· Previous commercial driving experience
· Need good geographical road knowledge of Central Belt
· Have exceptional people/communication skills
· Be able to work under pressure
· Have excellent attention to detail
· Have good numeracy and literacy skills

Hours : 8.30am - 5.30pm
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
