Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in financial management within a dynamic organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable ledgers
- Perform credit control activities, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances
- Complete bank reconciliations and maintain accurate petty cash records.
Additional Duties
- Reconcile the stock ledger to the General Ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Support the preparation of accruals and prepayments
- Maintain the fixed assets register, including depreciation calculations and schedules
- Review, analyse, and process monthly expenses
- Support the Head of Finance with: Month-end reporting, Cash flow forecasting, Annual budgeting process.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Ensure that financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar accounting role
- Experience within a manufacturing environment (desirable)
