Job Overview
RCT Manufacturing Ltd are looking to add a Parts Operative/Driver to our expanding team.
The candidate should be experienced in the use of various factory machinery including circular saws, hydraulic presses, manual presses, pedestal drills. Ability to use a tape measure is essential. Manufacturing various parts from tube, box section and flat.
The Driver role will be shared with another staff member. The candidate must have a full and clean UK driving licence. You will be expected to transport both unfinished and finished (painted) goods to various suppliers and customers in a responsible and careful manner. Ideally you will have experience of using a counterbalance FLT.
Duties
- Production of parts for our busy welding department using various machinery including drills, saws, presses and formers.
-Delivering our products to customers/painters.
-Collecting items from suppliers.
Skills
-Ability to follow instruction when using various machinery.
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong driving skills with a clean & valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some deliveries may require moving bulky items.
- Good organisational skills to manage delivery routes effectively.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
