Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at J&D Services in Walton. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our property management operations. This position plays a vital part in ensuring our financial integrity aligns with our company's commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as Xero.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and process invoices efficiently.
- Reconcile financial statements and prepare reports for management.
- Support the finance team with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities related to property management operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within the property or real estate industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software including Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant financial regulations in the UK is preferred.
