Job title: Social Media Video Editor
Location: Remote
Employment type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £30,000 (Depending on experience)
We're Scrolled, the social media and video agency recently rebranded from Surrey Films. We work primarily in video content, for clients across a wide range of industries including sport, gaming, radio, consumer brands, political campaigns and more.
This is an editing role built purely around social media. Predominantly short-form, fast turnaround, made to perform on the platform it's going out on rather than repurposed from something longer.
This is a role that can be moulded around your skillset, strengths and interests. We strongly encourage you to apply if you feel you'd make a good fit in our growing team.
What you'll do
- Cut and edit highly engaging short-form social video
- Work directly with clients, taking briefs and feedback first hand
- Work to brand guidelines across a varied client roster, switching tone between them
- Turn around edits quickly following a brief
- Grade and mix your own work to a finished standard
- Help shape how content is put together, not just execute someone else's brief
What success looks like after six months
- Client socials that are getting noticed
- A fast workflow without a drop in quality
- Work you're proud to put your name to
Must have
- 3+ years of relevant editing experience, agency or in-house
- An excellent understanding of social media content, and how it differs platform to platform
- Strong attention to detail on captions, timing, audio levels and export specs
- Comfortable talking to clients directly
- Expert level proficiency with Premiere Pro
- Solid After Effects knowledge. You don't need to be a motion designer, but you should be comfortable editing templates
- Good colour grading and audio knowledge
Nice to have
- Being located close to our office in Egham, Surrey, for occasional team days
- Social media management experience. This is a big plus for us.
- Experience with CapCut and/or Canva
- Experience in one or more of our client sectors
- Full UK driving licence
The details
- Full-time, remote work, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 18:00
- Up to £30,000 (Depending on experience)
- Start date: ASAP
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus a workplace pension
- The potential for some travel to client shoots, with travel and expenses covered
