Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services, restaurant, or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette when handling reservations or inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly disposition and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
