Cleaner / Surgery Decontamination Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner / Surgery Decontamination Assistant to join our well-established, family-run dental clinic on a permanent, full-time basis.
Located in the beautiful area of Pontcanna, Cardiff, our clinic provides a comprehensive range of private dental and facial aesthetic treatments. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care using state-of-the-art equipment and maintaining the highest professional standards.

The Role
Decontamination is a vital part of modern dentistry and plays a key role in minimising the risk of cross-infection. The role involves a thorough and structured process, including:
- Cleaning and decontamination of dental instruments and equipment
- Disinfection and sterilisation procedures
- Inspection and preparation of instruments
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the practice
- Following infection prevention and control procedures at all times
- Working efficiently as part of the wider dental team
Previous professional cleaning experience is essential, ideally within a healthcare or clinical environment. Full training will be provided on our specific decontamination procedures and equipment.

Hours of Work
Monday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Tuesday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
Friday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
This is a permanent, full-time position, 36 hours per week.
