Job Summary

Duties
- Safely transport clients to medical appointments, social outings, shopping trips, and other essential destinations using company vehicles.
- Deliver high-quality domiciliary care tailored to each client’s needs, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Support patients with personal care routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Administer medication following prescribed schedules and document all medication-related activities accurately.
- Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks to promote a comfortable living environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Implement behavior management strategies for clients with dementia or other cognitive impairments, including Alzheimer's and hospice care needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living environments or home care settings, demonstrating compassionate caregiving skills.
- Strong driving record with valid license; experience in safe vehicle operation and navigation.
- Knowledge of patient care practices, including medication administration and basic first aid procedures.
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s support strategies, and hospice care principles.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Capable of managing challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude.
