We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking Café Assistant/Barista to join our authentic Portuguese café. You will be the face of our shop, delivering excellent customer service while preparing traditional Portuguese drinks and light food.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving coffee, including Portuguese-style drinks (e.g. galão, meia de leite)
- Serving fresh food such as pastries& sandwiches
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Handling payments and operating the till
- Keeping the café clean, organised, and well-presented
- Restocking products and assisting with daily opening/closing duties
