Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Waiter and Floor Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, ensuring high standards of presentation and service.
- Take orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Assist in setting up tables, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the dining area before service.
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements with professionalism.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach.
- Maintain food safety standards and ensure all health regulations are adhered to during food preparation and serving.
- Support in food preparation tasks as required, including basic garnishing or assisting kitchen staff when necessary.
- Clear tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring the area remains clean and inviting throughout service hours.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Assist with organising reservations, managing guest flow, and providing a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are desirable.
- Familiarity with serving procedures, upselling techniques, and guest service excellence will be beneficial.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling bills and transactions accurately.
- Experience with kitchen operations or culinary work can be an asset but is not essential.
- Strong organisational skills, time management abilities, and a friendly demeanour are key qualities for success in this role.
