The Service & Team:
Children and Families Service in Cornwall Council are looking to appoint a Personalisation Support Administrator to work in our multi-disciplinary service. The successful candidate will have experience of working with disabled children and their families, be able to work within a team and independently and be able to organise their workload.
Personalisation Support Administrator will assist with the provision of support to families, ensuring timely communications with partner agencies as well as a range of tasks including records managements, meeting and room booking administration, DBS applications, uploading job adverts, collating data and input of information to Case Management and Corporate Systems.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern:
37 hours Monday to Friday
What you’ll need to succeed:
- To provide a caring and professional service to families in receipt of Direct Payments
- To answer and forward on all telephone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- To process DBS applications, supporting families and Personal Assistants throughout the process
- To maintain monthly data to be presented at Manager’s meetings
- To provide high quality business support including production of correspondence, reports, presentation materials and spreadsheets
- To upload job adverts
- To assist in annual reports and annual updates for families
- To minute team meetings
- To be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail and goods
- To assist with record management and ensure accurate information is maintained in manual and electronic records
- To assist in ensuring a high level of data quality to support statutory returns and assist in the collection of data as required
- To use related IT packages updating and maintaining information and tasks as required
- To operate specific procedures and processes in accordance with specialist service areas
To undertake scanning and uploading of documents to electronic document management systems
