Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols

- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
- Monitor health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive environment
- Support families by offering guidance on care routines and addressing concerns related to Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other conditions
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Strong patient care skills with an understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility challenges
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques for individuals with cognitive impairments
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for driving duties if required
- First aid certification and CPR training are advantageous for emergency preparedness
