Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining advanced security systems across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration of security solutions, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and telecommunication networks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance safety and security infrastructure. Duties
- Install, test, and commission security systems such as CCTV cameras, IDS, access control panels, and telecommunication equipment according to schematics and system design plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction experience to mount hardware securely on various surfaces and structures
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts to ensure accurate installation and configuration
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, network connectivity problems, and hardware malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand specific security requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, system upgrades, and repairs to ensure optimal performance of installed systems
- Document installation processes, system configurations, and maintenance activities thoroughly for future reference
Qualifications
- Proven experience with computer networking principles relevant to security systems integration
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to hardware mounting and structural considerations
- Familiarity with computer hardware components used in security devices and servers
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and power management for security installations
- Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, schematics reading, system design principles, and IDS technology
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools such as drills and saws,
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Construction experience is a plus for working in diverse environments

Pay: £26,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
