Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food production processes, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards
- Follow strict HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols to maintain food safety and hygiene throughout production
- Monitor production lines for quality control, identifying and addressing any issues promptly
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of cleanliness in line with food safety regulations
- Measure ingredients or products using basic math skills to ensure accurate quantities are maintained during production
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment, performing basic troubleshooting or reporting issues for maintenance
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, equipment performance, and safety checks
Experience
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety standards is highly desirable
- Basic mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery operation is advantageous
- Strong understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations in a production setting
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely and work efficiently within a team environment
