Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Room Leader to oversee and nurture our Baby Room. In this vital role, you will lead a team of early childhood educators, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for infants. Your leadership will foster positive development, promote effective communication with parents, and uphold high standards of childcare. Duties
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Baby Room, ensuring smooth and efficient activities
- Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to promote professional growth
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate infants’ physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Ensure all childcare practices meet regulatory standards and company policies
- Keep detailed records of children's development, attendance, and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- Proven management and leadership experience in early childhood education or nursery settings
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly infants in a childcare or nursery environment
- Strong knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety standards, and early childhood development principles
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are preferred
- Valid driving license is advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities
