Level 3 Early Years Educator – Happy Cubs (9 Months – 2.5 Years)
Hours: 35–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Working Hours: Between 7:45am and 4:45pm
Happy Bears Early Years Ltd is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our friendly team working with children aged 9 months to 2.5 years in our Happy Cubs room.
We are looking for someone with experience working in an early years setting who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education, building strong relationships with children and families, and helping every child reach their full potential.
As Happy Bears is a pack-away nursery operating from a community centre, all staff work together to set up the nursery each morning and pack away at the end of the day.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 9 months to 2.5 years.
- Planning engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
- Supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Completing observations and assessments.
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
- Working as part of the team to set up and pack away the nursery each day.
What we’re looking for
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Experience working with babies and toddlers in an early years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, positive and reliable approach.
- A genuine passion for giving children the very best start in life.
