The Role
We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer to help maintain and improve a wide range of equipment across our large production site.
Working as part of a small, experienced Engineering Team, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs across mechanical and electrical systems. No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of automated machinery, greenhouse systems and site infrastructure.
You will play an important role in improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and supporting the safe and efficient operation of our 24/7 production facilities.
- Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Maintain automated production and horticultural equipment.
- Work on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics and variable speed drives.
- Maintain irrigation, water and pumping systems.
- Maintenance on the greenhouse climate controls, heating and ventilation systems.
- Fault finding on three-phase electrical systems, sensors, inverters and control equipment.
- Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Produce and follow risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Record completed work and manage tasks using our maintenance management system.

- Experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within an industrial, manufacturing, agricultural or production environment.
- A good balance of mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- A calm and methodical approach, particularly under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- An understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
