Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and positive first impression
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist in food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure a delightful experience
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling orders and maintaining station cleanliness
- Handle basic math calculations for billing, payments, and change accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area to uphold health standards and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail
- Good time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
- Experience with serving or bartending is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
