We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our busy independent four surgery dental practice. We are mainly private with a small NHS contract. The successful candidate will take over an established book and be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring high standards of treatment and patient satisfaction, must be a good team player, empathic and have good business acumen.
The ideal candidate will be available to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the option of working Fridays from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. We can discuss alternative working days for the right candidate.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging tools.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, root canals, and cosmetic treatments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry, including anatomy knowledge and medical imaging techniques.
Experience
- Qualified Dentist with valid registration and licensing to practise within the UK.
- Proven experience in general dentistry, preferably with exposure to CAD systems and medical imaging technologies.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry tools and software is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment is advantageous but not essential for recent graduates eager to learn.
