Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production and raw material planner to join our team at Dearboy Petcare Ltd, based in Wrexham, founded in 2023, we have a modern state of the art food manufacturing facility producing premium pet food, servicing the major supermarkets and pet specialists worldwide. We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to join a busy manufacturing environment. You'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, planning schedules, ensuring materials are ready, and maintaining accurate data across systems.
Requirements
· Proven experience in a planning role within a fast-paced production environment with a strong understanding of production planning.
· Excellent communication and engagement skills.
· Hands-on, proactive, and detail-focused.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
· High-level IT and admin skills (Excel, ERP systems etc.)
£35,000 to £45,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (flexible between 7am–5pm)
Location : This is a on site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create weekly production schedules meeting manufacturing requirements.
- Organise raw materials, packaging, and outsourced services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast requirements, and respond quickly to changes.
- Liaise with internal teams to manage forecasts and availability.
- Attend planning meetings, resolve production challenges.
- Maintain accuracy in purchasing systems and support with KPI reporting and audits.
