Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures to uphold hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other essential items in restrooms and cleaning stations.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for everyone on campus.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment effectively and safely to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently throughout the day.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and school community values.
