About Us
Taskforce Maintenance Limited is a well-established, growing heating and plumbing company serving homes and businesses across Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Chichester, Bognor Regis and Emsworth. As we expand our domestic heating and gas services, we're looking for an experienced, Gas Safe registered engineer to join our friendly, professional team.
The Role
As our Domestic Gas Engineer, you'll carry out boiler servicing, repairs, installations and landlord gas safety checks for residential customers across our service area, delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship and customer care.
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas boilers and central heating systems
- Installing new boilers and heating systems in line with current regulations
- Carrying out landlord gas safety (CP12) certificates and safety inspections
- Diagnosing faults efficiently and completing first-time fixes wherever possible
- Providing clear, friendly advice to customers on their heating systems
- Keeping accurate job records, certification and paperwork up to date
- Working safely and in line with Gas Safe and industry regulations at all times
What We're Looking For
- Full Gas Safe registration (ACS: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent domestic categories)
- Proven experience as a domestic gas engineer, ideally including installation work
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A professional, courteous manner with strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Boiler manufacturer accreditations (Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal etc.) are an advantage
- OFTEC or unvented hot water (G3) qualifications are desirable but not essential
