Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce precise sheet metal components. Responsibilities
- Monitor machine operation during production runs, making adjustments as necessary for quality control
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and surface quality, ensuring compliance with standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fabrication, sheet metal work, or operating press brake machinery is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and basic math skills for measuring and calculations
- Understanding of safety procedures related to machine operation and manufacturing environments
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
