Summary
We are currently seeking a loading Shovel Operator to join our team for the day. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a loading shovel and to assist in various construction tasks, ensuring efficiency and safety on-site. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering high-quality recruitment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Assist in digging, grading, and other earth-moving tasks as required.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tractor Operator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery operations.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
