Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced General Builder to join our growing team and work on residential & commercial construction projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work.
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with precision and adherence to safety standards.
- Conduct construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems as required.
- Execute masonry work and concrete finishing.
- Operate welding equipment for fabricating metal structures or components.
- Assist with electrical installations or repairs where qualified, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete various building tasks.
- Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in general building or related trades is essential.
- Demonstrable skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, fabrication, or a combination thereof is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools in a construction setting.
- Ability to read technical drawings or plans is advantageous.
- minimum 2 year experience working on diverse construction projects will be considered an asset.
- A valid relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship completion is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
