The School and Role:
A primary school in Sunderland is seeking a reliable and committed full-time Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will support pupils in the classroom, work with individuals and small groups, and help children build confidence and independence. Previous experience with the 'Little Wandle' phonics scheme is desirable. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and able to commit fully to the role, providing consistent support to pupils.
Requirements:
The desired Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working within KS1
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
