Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair styling services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Offer specialised services such as eyelash extensions and professional makeup application.
- Manage store operations efficiently, including front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance client experience and maximise sales opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members and assist in training new staff to uphold salon standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalised consultations.
- Assist with store management tasks when required to ensure smooth daily operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a busy salon environment is preferred.
- Skills in barbering are advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with store management or front desk responsibilities is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are essential for understanding client needs and providing expert advice.
- Previous mentoring or training experience is beneficial for supporting team development.
