We’re looking for an enthusiastic Lead Holiday Camp Coach to support the Head Coach in delivering an outstanding holiday camp experience throughout the summer.
The Role
As Lead Coach, you’ll help lead the daily delivery of camp, supporting a team of coaches while ensuring every child has a safe, engaging and enjoyable experience.
You’ll be someone who leads by example, brings energy to every session and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Coach with the day-to-day running of camp.
- Deliver high-quality sports and activity sessions.
- Help supervise and support coaching staff.
- Create a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
- Welcome children and parents each morning.
- Manage equipment, registers and daily organisation.
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Be a positive role model for every child on camp.
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
- Loves working with children.
- Has previous sports coaching or holiday camp experience.
- Is energetic, reliable and organised.
- Can confidently lead groups of children.
- Communicates well with children, parents and colleagues.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Wants to make a real difference every day.
Essential
- Experience working with children.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong safeguarding awareness.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent).
Desirable
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- First Aid Qualification.
- Experience leading sports or activity sessions.
