We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Silo Cleaning Operative to join our team. This is a physically demanding and hands-on role, involving the internal and external cleaning of silos and related storage units at industrial, agricultural, and commercial sites across the UK.
Applicants must live in the Bradford area.
The successful candidate must hold a Full UK Driving Licence, as travel to various client sites is required. Most of the time will be travelling up to Scotland and down to London, all accommodation will be paid, basic food will be also included
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the interior and exterior of silos and storage vessels using specialist equipment.
- Operate high-pressure jetting tools, vacuum systems, and confined space entry gear safely and effectively.
- Carry out confined space entry work, including working at height and using breathing apparatus where required.
- Conduct safety checks and follow strict health & safety procedures on every job site.
- Accurately complete job sheets and reports.
- Travel to client sites across the UK with free overnight stays.
- Communicate professionally with clients and represent the company in a positive manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Experience in industrial or silo cleaning is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (training and certification provided if needed).
- Physically fit and able to work in challenging conditions.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible with working hours and willing to travel.
