The Olive & Vine is a new independent hospitality venue opening in Stubbington, offering premium coffee, brunch, Mediterranean-inspired tapas, cocktails, wines and our signature Bottomless Buffet experience.
We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistent, high-quality food in a fresh and exciting new venue.
The Role
As Chef, you will support the Head Chef with food preparation, cooking, service and maintaining high kitchen standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with fresh food, takes pride in presentation and can work well as part of a small team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard
- Support brunch, tapas and Bottomless Buffet service
- Assist with prep, service and kitchen close-down
- Maintain food quality and consistency
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Support stock rotation and waste control
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service
- Work well with the Head Chef and wider team
- Help create a positive kitchen culture
Requirements
- Previous chef/kitchen experience essential
- Restaurant, café, pub or fresh food kitchen experience preferred
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Reliable, organised and professional
- Able to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
- Comfortable working in a busy service environment
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
