Job Title: Digital Trainer Coach (Assessor/Tutor)
Salary: £28,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum
Summary of Role: The Digital Skills Trainer Coach is responsible for managing a caseload of up to 40 apprentices, supporting them throughout their apprenticeship journey from enrolment to completion. The role includes delivering high-quality training, coaching and assessment, monitoring learner progress, providing information, advice and guidance, and ensuring learners achieve their qualifications in line with awarding organisation, funding and organisational requirements.
Key Duties
Digital Apprenticeships
Plan and deliver both knowledge- and competency-based qualifications in line with
Awarding Body, funding, and organisational requirements, including:
o Digital Learning Practitioner
o Digital Skills for Business
o Data Analytics
o Digital Product Management Level 4
Design and deliver engaging digital workshops and ‘off-the-job’ training sessions to provide high-quality teaching and learning opportunities that meet programme objectives.
Prepare, adapt and develop digital and physical learning resources to support effective delivery across multiple platforms.
Provide personalised support, coaching, information, and guidance to learners throughout their learning journey.
Track learner progression and assess achievement using e-portfolio systems to ensure timely completion of qualifications and frameworks.
Utilise Power BI and other digital tools to analyse learner data, monitor performance, and proactively manage your caseload to drive timely achievement and maintain high quality standards.
Support learners in developing their skills across literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, employability, Welsh language, sustainability, and other cross-cutting themes.
Consistently secure excellent learner feedback through responsive support and a commitment to a high-quality learner experience.
Meet contractual, quality, and compliance requirements by achieving recruitment, retention, attainment, and caseload management targets.
Actively engage in continuing professional development and seek out opportunities for upskilling and reflective practice.
Monitor and promote the safeguarding and wellbeing of learners, taking appropriate action in line with safeguarding procedures when necessary.
Work in full accordance with Welsh Government’s apprenticeship frameworks, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Programme Delivery and Design
Manage and deliver a high-quality learning and assessment experience to a caseload of apprentices across Aspire 2Be's digital apprenticeship portfolio, ensuring timely progress, achievement and successful completion of apprenticeship standards.
● Contribute to the design and implementation of new programmes as they arise.
● Create resources for new programmes that incorporate various forms of new and emerging technologies.
● Create development resources that are contextually relevant to clients and accurately reflect their practice.
● Collaborate with the apprenticeship team to deliver/co deliver sessions for all company products.
● Contribute to the company social media strategy capturing the delivery of training / feedback of clients.
Company Procedures & Quality Standards
● Ensure training programmes are delivered in accordance with A2B expectations/quality assurance standards.
● Ensure training programmes are delivered in accordance with awarding and inspectorate bodies.
● Reviewing the safeguarding and wellbeing of learners and escalating through the appropriate process where required.

Essential Criteria
Level 4 Digital or IT based accredited qualification
● TAQA or equivalent
● Occupational competence for the specialised vocational at Level 4 or above.
● Experience in the Business sector working with a range of office packages such as Microsoft office and/or Google suite.
● Experience working as a Trainer and/or assessor.
● Experience of using an E-Portfolio.
● High levels of digital competence
● Demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity and inclusion
● Ability to react flexibly under pressure and to work to tight deadlines.
● Excellent time management and organisational skills
● Hands-on approach and ‘can do’ attitude.
● Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.

Full driving license, own vehicle and willing to travel across Wales with Business Cover Insurance (A copy of your insurance will be requested upon offer)
Desirable Criteria
Welsh speaker
● Experience in a Leadership & Management role
● Experience of designing and implementing Power Automate workflows.
● Experience of developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational performance.
● Leadership & Management qualification
● Proven experience of using digital technologies to promote teaching and learning.
● Knowledge and understanding of the Professional Standards for Worked Based Learning Practitioners in Wales
● Experience of contributing, supporting and complying with all contract requirements and corporate strategies including but not restricted to: Health & Safety Code of Practice, Contract & Audit requirements, Awarding Body requirements, ESTYN, Information Security Requirements and Safeguarding
Key Technologies
● Aspire 2Be/Educ8 preferred MIS reporting systems, Aspire360, Team8, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Edge, E-learning Portfolio, Moodle, any applicable external diagnostic tools
