Night care assistant needed for a small care home in Bideford.
The home is a 17 bed care home , spread over 3 floors.
Shift pattern is 8pm - 8am
Enhanced pay for bank holidays and over time worked.
36 hours a week , opportunities for overtime
Training and experience is not a must but must be willing to completed the care certificate and training provided by the company
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Basic IT skills to manage schedules and documentation efficiently.
Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate support to individuals in the care home. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of clients.
