Goodwill Solutions CIC (community interest company) is part of the Goodwill Solutions Group. We uniquely combine the drive to deliver profit through the provision of a high-quality service with a mission to deliver positive social impact by helping people from challenging backgrounds access meaningful training and employment opportunities.
We work with prisons, the DWP, Jobcentre Plus, training providers, potential employers and a world leading international developer to get people back into work. We believe that the time is now right to significantly upscale our operations.
The Role
· Proactively lead the company’s support into work programme.
· Maintain and develop the already established funded workforce programmes whilst continuing to build trusted relationships with funders and employers.
· Create and maintain a clear delivery plan which includes candidates, partners, employers, and funders.
· Ensure proper systems, evidence, deadlines, outcome targets, and accurate reporting are all in place and can be easily referenced.
· Work in conjunction with the Social Impact Director and Senior Leadership Team to grow the business in a sustainable fashion.
· Develop and deliver clear marketing messages that provide clarity to our strategy alongside the implementation of a simple and effective Business Development and Client Relationship Plan.
· Meet regularly with key clients, prospects and potential partners.
· Build and develop an effective team as the business grows.
· Lead the delivery of our funded logistics workforce programme including the organisation and running of “open days”, training workshops, candidate recruitment and support, and placement.

The Person
· Relevant knowledge and experience in programme management, employment support, and social value delivery.
· A demonstrated track record of turning business relationships into candidate referrals, training provision, funded opportunities or sustainable employment outcomes.
· Commercially aware with business “savvy” with the ability to effectively manage funder relationships and delivery targets.
· Highly credible with senior stakeholders, employers and partner organisations.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build trust quickly.
· Good judgement around safeguarding, confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries.
· A practical “hands on” doer and self- starter able to take ownership, maintain momentum, and make a positive difference.
· Flexible, agile, multitasker, calm under pressure, resilient, and empathetic.
· Full UK driving licence, and willingness to travel to various UK locations.
· Useful if you understood logistics, warehousing, transport or construction labour markets, and work with disadvantaged groups.
