About Batchbake
We supply premium baked goods to independent coffee shops and hospitality venues. The Batchbake brand is a relatively new creation of a family-owned hospitality group that has a long and successful trading history across the cafe and hotel sectors.
Our business model disrupts traditional elements of bakery wholesaling. By using blast freezing technology and direct courier delivery we offer artisanal quality with thaw & serve convenience.
This gives customers exceptional bakery products that both increase sales and reduce waste.
Our ecommerce platform allows customers to buy directly from us.
The senior leadership team has generated significant early growth. Now we are looking to recruit our first dedicated sales professional to build on this progress. We plan to develop a sales and account management team over time, which will provide opportunities for your progression.
The Role
This is a versatile sales role focused on converting independent cafes and other appropriate venues to Batchbake.
You will build a pipeline, make contact, create opportunities and onboard new accounts using the full sales mix – combining phone , email and in-person meetings, site visits and trade events. Account management is also part of the role, re-activating lapsed or dormant accounts and growing the customers you win.
This is not an entry-level position. We need a proven operator with a strong record of results.
The Package
Total package over £65k (£28k – £32k salary + £37.5k OTE) with clear capacity to earn much more.
Uncapped 5% commission on new attributed sales (excluding VAT, delivery and returns) for 12 months from first paid order. Average annual net spend per account is expected tobe >£5,000 based on internal and external data.
Laptop and phone provided.
Permanent contract with a 6 month probationary period.
A blend of office (Witney, Oxfordshire), field-based and flexible home working
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable results in B2B sales.
Excellent verbal communication skills .
Compelling and professional written communication.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to manage your own workload and diary.
Organised, with good attention to detail and reliable pipeline management.
Full, clean UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
Capable with email, spreadsheets, word processors and CRM system
