We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. Duties
Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
Conduct comprehensive legal research using online databases and other resources to support case strategies.
Manage and organize case files, maintaining meticulous records of all legal documents and correspondence.
Perform audio typing of legal transcripts, dictations, and reports with high accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates while managing calendars to ensure timely submissions.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite applications—Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook—to draft documents, prepare presentations, and communicate effectively.
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Develop strong organizational skills to prioritize workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with IT troubleshooting related to office software or hardware issues as needed to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a paralegal or in an administrative role within a legal setting is preferred.
Proficiency in audio typing with high accuracy; experience with transcription software is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; familiarity with legal research tools is desirable.
Basic IT skills to troubleshoot common technical issues related to office equipment or software.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Prior experience in handling administrative tasks such as filing systems or document management is beneficial.
