The produce merchandiser will assist the produce manager where needed. The job consists of a five-day week, which includes Saturday’s. The shift may start as early as 8 a.m. Typical duties are as follows:
Essential Functions

Provides customers with superior service
- Ensure that product reworks and markdowns are carried out when needed
- Cleans refrigerated cases as directed
- Unload product from trucks/pallets and properly stores them away
- Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, sanitized manner
Other Responsibilities

Checks product received against invoice
- Orders product as instructed by department manager
- Removes damaged or outdated product to designated area
- Removes trash to designated area
- Rotating products in cooler
- Communicates any issues and/or concerns to store management
Experience and Skills Required

Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Ability to do the job while standing
- Ability to bend and reach
- Ability to lift boxes up to 60lbs
- Ability to work in cooler temperatures
- Ability to push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product
