Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our small dynamic Michelin-guide team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing prompt and charming service, accurately taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating as needed
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items or dietary restrictions
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards
- Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs throughout the dining experience
- Process payments accurately and handle cash, credit, or POS transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining area, and service stations
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and report to management if needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server or in the food service industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
We are able to offer approx. 30 to 35 hours a week to the right candidate.
