Inspire Education Group is seeking passionate and supportive Early Years professionals to join our growing Early Years team in this newly merged Lecturer / Skills Trainer Assessor role. We welcome applications from experienced lecturers, assessors, trainers, and industry professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality teaching in the classroom while also coaching, mentoring, and assessing learners out in the workplace. This is an exciting opportunity to support the next generation entering the childcare and education sector across our T Level, foundation, and vocational programmes.
In this combined role, you will deliver engaging classroom teaching and conduct workplace assessments, ensuring our learners develop the complete set of skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to succeed in the Early Years sector. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and practical instruction across Early Years programmes (Levels 1 to 4).
Managing a caseload of T Level, foundation, and vocational learners, conducting workplace assessments, reviews, and observations.
Providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive developmental feedback to support student progress, achievement, and wellbeing.
Assessing student work, setting SMART targets, and preparing learners for assessments and end-point assessment (EPA) activities.
Developing engaging teaching materials, learning resources, and contributing to curriculum development.
Supporting work placements, fostering strong relationships with local employers, and embedding English, maths, and digital skills into your delivery.
We're looking for someone who:
Has recent, hands-on experience working within the Early Years sector.
Is passionate about education, mentoring, and supporting learners of all abilities to reach their full potential.
Has excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills to collaborate with colleagues and employers alike.
Is creative, adaptable, and highly learner-focused, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant teaching and assessing qualifications. We welcome industry professionals looking to transition into education!
