Job Overview
Our baker focuses on the hands-on creation of breads, pastries and baked goods, whilst managing a large part of the entire business operation, combining technical baking skills with team leadership, inventory control, and profitability
Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform daily production schedules, workflows, and ensure output quality across team for Presentation, Service, Production, Cleanliness
- Hire, train, schedule, and mentor baking and front-of-house staff
- Manage stock control, order raw ingredients, and minimize operational waste
- Enforce food safety, HACCP regulations, and local health standards
- Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and optimise retail displays
- Monitor business profitability, labor costs, and product pricing strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, cooking, or bakery operations within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong background in culinary arts with specific expertise in baking and pastry techniques
- Extensive kitchen experience demonstrating knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Prior management experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and certification requirements relevant to bakery operations
- Passion for creating high-quality baked goods that delight customers and uphold brand integrity

Pay: £30,420.00-£34,720.00 per year
