Due to growing and expansion we are now looking for Bank Residential Support Staff who will be looking to join the company to make difference in Childrens lives. We are looking for individual whom are looking to gain experience then join full time once permanent posts open up.
We work with the most vulnerable children in the Country. Our Children come with various background in trauma and behaviour issues including trauma, PTSD, ADHD and so on. Our adults must have resilience as well as empathy and skills to challenge such behaviours. Able to provide positive parenting.

Our candidates will be available week days and weekend and will be able to support the home in emergency.

The potential candidate must want to learn and excel in their role. Our adults are so important to us as they are the foundation of our homes. They are well looked after and supported with in the team and will be taught to grow in own role.
Our home provides therapeutic approach to care for children and young people who display emotional and behavioural difficulties. We endeavour to create a nurturing home environment that will exceed the needs of the children and young people - enabling them to express their characters, feel safe and enhance their lives.
We require individuals who are able to make dynamic risk assessment and plan on the spot, have the ability to challenge, challenging behaviour, help the children understand and keep them safe and make connection with them.
Candidates will be expected to work long days, weekends bank holidays and sleep in. You will be available to support your colleagues and step in when in emergency.
Sleep in is required as part of the job.
Candidates must have health and social care level 3 or Residential Childcare Level 3/4
Ideally staff to have at least 1 year experience in Residential Children's Home .
Staff must be willing to climb the ladder and excel in their job.
Responsibilities will include:
· To provide activities, support and structure for children in the home ensuring appropriate levels and standards of individual care.
- To maintain standards of good practice at all times, establishing purposeful and constructive relationships and appropriate role modelling so as to assist with the development of their life, activities, education, social skills and personal skills.
- To participate on a shift basis by rota, demonstrating a level of commitment and flexibility to enable the efficient running of the home.
- To undertake training and utilise learning within the home.
- To act as a key worker for individual children, with supervision, including befriending, advising and acting as an advocate when necessary.
- To take appropriate action to ensure that activity and other plans are designed, implemented and reviewed so that child's stay is managed and their health, social and emotional development is monitored
- To contribute to good practice standards within the company
- To safeguard and promote the welfare and health of any child or young person, including the protection of the child from any harm/exploitation.
- To help with the general upkeep of the household i.e. conducting the food shop and cleaning.
An enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment.

Requirements must have
- Recent experience working as a Children's Residential Support Worker in a Children's Home or similar would be desirable.
- Health and Social care would be desirable
- Full UK Driving Licence. Must
